Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist supervisor of all security operations throughout shift while on property.Ensure that all procedures are being followed by officers as outlined in the Internal Controls, Key Controls, underage prevention and standard operating procedures.Assist Supervisor with monitoring and order all sensitive/restricted keys on property and conduct monthly audit of keys.Assist in emergency situations, such as disorderly patrons and medical emergencies while on shift.
Review security reports and forward to appropriate locations.Provide work directions for security officers.Assist in Filling out daily work rosters and assign job areas for parking, landing and casino personnel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist and directly supervises Security Officers when needed
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including
fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year gaming experience and/or training; orequivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of Mississippi State Regulations and Internal Controls.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be 21 years or older and possess a valid State drivers license. Must qualify for a Mississippi Gaming Work Permit.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
COMPUTER SKILLSWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
