Read work order, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine setup and finish dimensions.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain equipment independentlyEnter coordinate information into computer control panelFrom complex blueprints, measure and mark tanksObserve displays, process, and listen to machine to detect malfunctionsReplace worn or damaged machine partsCorrect quality defectsClean and maintain robotScoop or pour abrasive particles into hopper of machineMay trim, sand, and drill parts using shop equipmentRecord production work recordsCheck completed projects for conformance to specifications and for qualityRecord and report defectsMaintain clean products and work areaPractice safe work habits and maintain safe work environmentShare industry and company information in the development of new workersAssist others as neededPerform other duties as requested by supervisorQualificationsWillingness to learn and receive on the job trainingWillingness to share information in the job training processWork alone with minimal direction or as part of a teamExcellent basic math skills requiredAbility to interpret complex specification sheets requiredAbility to directly communicate verbally requiredAbility to read, write and speak the English language proficiently.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious production experience requiredPhysical DemandsLift up to 20 pounds overhead.Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Stand on concrete floor up to 10 hours per day.Wear personal protective equipment.Demonstrate adequate dexterity and stamina.Subject to periodic drug screening.
