Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias- Multi-system organ failure- Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring- IV Insulin Protocols- GI surgery- Genitourinary/Renal experience- Chronic/Acute Renal failure management- IV therapy- Accessing Ports- Arterial line management- Blood Product Administration- Central line care/management- PICC line management- Starting IVs- Continuous IV sedation- Titrate Cardiac drips- Titrate Vasoactive drips- CVA/Acute Stroke management- Assist with management of BiPAP- Assist with management of CPAP- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal- Care of Ventilated Patient- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- Interpretation of ABGs- Suctioning (ETT, NT)- Infection Prevention- Isolation, Precautions/ Use of PPE- Phlebotomy- Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac Job Description: - Work in a high-acuity ICU setting with patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics. - Manage patient care for a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio.- Utilize unit systems such as Pyxis and EPIC efficiently.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Comply with full compliance requirements to ensure timely start and continued employment.- Participate in a 13-hour orientation session.- Potential floating within the facility may be required.- Schedule must accommodate up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO), with blocked scheduling not guaranteed.- Must be prepared to work major holidays based on assignment duration: - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day - Thanksgiving/Black Friday - Christmas Eve/Christmas Day - New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
