Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine fit, if clinical screen/pass candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS Required; ACLS Preferred General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Orthopedic, Neuro experience required, ability to circulate and perform conscious sedation; trauma experience preferred Ratio / Census: 1:1; 17 OR Rooms Unit Systems: Pyxis and Epic (Preferred) Scrub Color: Provided by the facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Depends on the shift Floating: Not specified Call Requirements: Depends on the shift. Days - 4 call days, 2 (3P-7P) and 2 (3P-11P) and 2 weekend days for 12 hours. Nights - After 3P then they take 11P-7A call and the weekends Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Years Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1 Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 Independence Day: Thursday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 2 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29 Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
