Reporting to the EVS Supervisor, the EVS Attendant is responsible for assisting in providing a superior gaming experience, unattainable by our competitor, where guests can indulge themselves without apology, to provide a clean, safe gaming environment for our external and internal customers in accordance with company standards.
Essential Functions
Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention.Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.Sweeps and mops floors.Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metal work.Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.Transports trash and waste to disposal area.Replenishes bathroom supplies.Performs other duties as assigned.Maintain assigned areas.Able to provide information and directions to inquiring guests.Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involvedMust able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)Remove trash as assignedRemove or transport items from one area to another as assignedMopping floorsPERKS AND BENEFITS FOR BEING A TEAM MEMBER AT JACK:

Must be able to work independently.Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.Respond to visual and aural cues.Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishEducation and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.Ability to work a flexible shift to include nights, holidays and weekends.Must be a team player.Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.Some knowledge of proper chemical usage preferred.Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.Must be 21 years of age.Required Certification/License
Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license
