What you'll do in this role:Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices Effectively inform and educate our patients about specific wellness concerns Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the patientUphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as requiredCommunicate to RN Case Manager or Nurse Supervisor all occurrences involving patient issues that require attention Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyMaintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environmentRegularly attend and participate in staff meetingsPerform aromatherapy during patient massage visits upon patient/family request and approval, as trainedWe are looking for compassionate Massage Therapist with:High school diploma or equivalentSome college coursework preferredA minimum of five years of therapeutic massageExperience with geriatric populationAbility to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and valuesProficiency with computersQuestions?
