Job Description

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):Responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines under the direction of a supervisorResponsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirementsStudies and interprets setup sheets, drawings, and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished products.Measures and enters dimensions and reference points on the company ERP systemDetects equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities. Reports all machine malfunctions to the immediate supervisorCommunicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other department personnel to resolve machining or quality issuesResponsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and performing basic preventative maintenance functions on equipmentWithin the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with company procedures and policyEssential Skills:

Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensionsKnowledge of various tool holders such as; cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machinesKnowledge of precision hand-measuring instruments includes but is not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scalesMust be able to follow written and oral instructionsMust be adaptable to a changing work environment, and competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected eventsKnowledge of CNC Vertical LathePrevious experience working with HAAS 2 - 3-Axis machinery is a plus!Previous experience with Vertical Lathe machinery is a plus!Leadership: Display initiative to follow up and resolve problems seen in the field and always willing to bring ideas to the tableTeamwork: Wonderful team player with a great attitude, willing to learn and grow in their roleAttention to detail: High attention to details is required to follow up and resolve problemsQualifications:

High school diploma preferred2 years of similar responsibility in a manufacturing and set-up experienceMust possess basic math skillsMust be willing and able to work flexible shifts and change work schedulesCompensation / Benefits:
