The Medical Staff Office Assistant is a professional administrative assistant who assists with the coordination of medical staff activities, performs secretarial and delegated administrative job duties and acts as a liaison between the Medical Staff, nursing staff, and Administration within parameters established by the Director of Medical Staff Services.Functions are performed in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations, The Joint Commission, CMS guidelines, Federal and State regulations, State licensure, department policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.1-2 years of experience working in a medical staff office preferred.Medical Terminology experience and CPCS Certification preferred.
