Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per weekLength : 26 weeksHoliday Expectations: Varies, based on needWeekend rotation: Every other (Dayshift: Sat/Sun; Nightshift: Fri/Sat)Requirements:ME License2 years minimum in ICU experienceNeuro and Trauma experience are an absolute must – EVD & ICP monitoringVentilator management, critical care drips, drain management, stroke experience, hemodynamic lines (A-lines/CVP), cardiac rhythm recognition, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, strong assessment skillsBLSACLSNIHSSOther details:
Charting System: CernerFirst-time traveler acceptedFloating: To the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) – will take patients within scope, Cardiac Stepdown or Medical Stepdown, PICU if they have Peds experiencePatient Ratios: 1:2 – based on acuity (may get 3rd patient as one is being discharged or moved to the floor)Patient Types: Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Interventional patients, ICP monitoring, External Ventricular drain (EVD), spinal precautions, DKA, Multi system trauma patients, Sepsis, ARDS, COVID, PNA, COPD, StrokeUnits: ICU
