Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Environmental Project Manager to join our team in the Scientific industry. This is a permanent position that will involve managing and leading environmental projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are executed in accordance with federal and state regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of environmental projects, while also contributing to our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant federal and state regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including RI/FS, RD/RA, and ROD.
- Conduct HAZWOPER training and maintain certification.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and community members.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure project success.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use Microsoft program products to manage project data and generate reports.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil, Chemical, or a related engineering degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental project management.
- Experience with RCRA and CERCLA processes (RI/FS, RD/RA, ROD) and documentation.
- HAZWOPER training and certification.
- MUST have a PE license in CA.
- Understanding of Federal facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft program products.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
