We are seeking a seasoned Private Credit Managing Director to lead our private credit investment strategies. This individual will play a pivotal role in sourcing, executing, and managing private credit transactions, as well as overseeing a team of investment professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in private credit, a deep understanding of capital markets, and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Investment Strategy:
Develop and implement the private credit investment strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall goals and objectives.Sourcing and Origination:
Identify and pursue new investment opportunities through extensive networking, industry research, and relationship-building with intermediaries and potential borrowers.Due Diligence:
Lead the due diligence process for new investments, including financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk assessment.Portfolio Management:
Oversee the management of existing investments, working closely with portfolio companies to drive value creation and mitigate risk.Team Leadership:
Mentor and lead a team of investment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Investor Relations:
Communicate effectively with investors regarding investment performance, strategy updates, and market trends.Market Insights:
Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes affecting the private credit landscape, providing strategic insights to the firm's leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in private credit, investment banking, or related fields, with a proven track record of sourcing and executing deals.Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of credit risk assessment and financial modeling.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.Strong network within the private credit and investment communities.
