ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Chief Engineer.The Chief Engineer oversees all activities and staff related to the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems within a property. The goal is maximum life and reliability of all systems. The Chief Engineer must be flexible and willing to perform all duties that are assigned, which may include maintenance and operations of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as general building maintenance and building inspections. The Chief Engineer must respond to client requests, open and assign work orders, and order parts when necessary. Additionally, the Chief Engineer must ensure compliance with expense guidelines, company policy, and governing codes.Pay:

$60.40The pay listed is the salary range for this position. ABM 2023 Employee Benefits .Essential Functions:Responsible for the day-to-day management of the local workforce, including Mechanical and Technical operations in a commercial facility.Implement client objectives and support energy initiatives.Ensure consistent reporting and implementation of Able/ABM Engineering operational standards.Implement safety programs and provide training for area employees.Supervise company-directed QA and safety programs.Audit and benchmark job sites and employee processes.Develop and implement company and job site standards.Oversee scheduling of job site supervisors and employees.Facilitate accurate AES billing and accounting.Assist in the development of budgets as required.Participate in marketing, sales, and local BOMA/IFMA events.Review and comment on monthly chief engineer reports and facility energy use.Assist in managing overtime and client overtime expectations.Provide leadership to Able/ABM Engineering Services’ employees and facilitate career growth opportunities.Understand and work with union contracts and non-union employment rules.A minimum of two (2) years' experience in the field and prior management experience is required. Must have knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well in a customer-focused team environment.
