POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Interior Designer will work with the Principal and oversee and execute interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications, budgets, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and extensive knowledge of art, architecture, design principals, furniture and decorative arts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform these essential duties satisfactorily:
Collaborate with Principal Designer to develop concepts, sketches, construction draft floorplans, elevations, FF&E packages and specifications for assigned projects
Work with Principal to develop scope of work, establish timelines and schedules for every part of each project
Oversee Design Architects and Designers with design development, project timelines, managing deadlines and executing client objectives from concept to completion
Research and source materials, hardware, fabrics, tile, lighting, plumbing, artwork, furniture, treatments, and accessories based on the specific requirements of each project
Facilitate presentations and drawings for custom residential/commercial projects
Responsible for producing presentations and assisting Design Architect with drawings
Manage internal teams, vendor relationships, contractor execution, and client expectations
Meet with clients, attend planning and construction meetings as needed
Attend site visits with contractors and vendors and assist in overseeing custom designed construction, furniture placement, window treatments, artwork, accessorizing, etc..
Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously
Achieve profitability goals related to time and material selections and overall project execution
Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree of Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related design field
Five years of professional experience working for an Interior Design firm
Experience with SketchUp, Studio Designer, Adobe Suite preferred

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
