Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleAs a Lead Storage Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying shared system resources, like disks and networking. You will also work on performance analysis and troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures.LocationThis is a work from home position within the U.S.The Main Responsibilities8+ Years experience in SAN & NAS administrationAt least 8 years of experience in Administration of HP3PAR Storage Arrays and NetApp FAS and AFF series advanced SAN/NAS concepts as well as Storage Grid concepts of block storage.Storage provisioning, LUN Management, LUN masking, zoning, performance management and volume management (Planning, allocations and de-allocations).SAN fabric concepts and NAS protocols - CIFS/NFS.Hands-on experience on various HP3PAR storage arrays.Hands-on experience on NetApp Ontap OS and NetApp alert management.Monitoring and optimization of the performance, tuning, capacity planning, proactive monitoring.Automation and scripting of routine tasks (Ansible, Python).SAN FC switching and zoning (Brocade and Cisco).Vendor management in fixing the critical/Major issues and upgrades.Storage performance analysis.Strong knowledge on Clustering and High Availability and FabricPool management.Expertise in Configuring and troubleshooting snap mirror and setup of DR any given site.In-depth knowledge on troubleshooting CIFS, NFS share issues, iSCSI, Fiber Channel protocols.Upgrade coordination with the Vendor - routine OS upgrades.Engage with vendor support and work on technical issues and be able to explain the problem in detail to the vendor.Experience with StorageGrid OS updates and expansion (SG1000, SG6060).Experience on SAN storage provisioning.Experience in Remedy, ServiceNow ticketing tools.What We Look For in a CandidateA good understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes (Incident, change, configuration, and problem management) and certification will be an added advantage.Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google).Netapp Certifications.Good leadership skills, able to lead in a crisis, timely resolution of a problem.Be able to explain the concepts around Object storage.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
