Family Partner

to provide peer support to family members that engage with Wraparound and the Family Urgent Response System. As the Family Partner, you will perform a wide range of activities needed to function as a member of the team, as well as provide individual support to parents and other caregivers.ABOUT VENTURA WRAP/FURSWraparound/FURS are community-based programs that serve at-risk youth from ages 0-21 throughout Ventura County. The Family Specialist role works with a team of Clinicians, Parent Partners, and Youth Advocates to support the youth and their family. We do “whatever it takes” to help our community thrive. Work as part of a FURS mobile response team to provide crisis intervention and other mental health services as needed in client homes and in the community.Provide individual support, coaching, and psycho-education for the parent/caregiver or identified family member.Participate in identifying relevant community resources and linking participants/families to those resources.Complete progress notes and other paperwork, and complete service tracking documentation as indicated.Participate in weekly supervision with the program supervisor or designee.Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork including but not limited to time sheets, petty cash, and mileage.Qualifications

REQUIREDPersonal caregiver experience of a youth who has been the recipient of child welfare and/or other behavioral health services (e.g., child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, special education, etc.).High school diploma/GEDAbility to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and with a diverse population.Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekend days.Proficient written and verbal communication skills, including computer skills in Microsoft Office programs.Valid California driver's license, own vehicle, and insurable by Seneca's automobile policy.Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.PREFERREDBilingual (Spanish and English).Schedule

Full-time

Sunday-Thursday: 9:30am-5:30pm

Hybrid; provide in-person services & complete documentation remotely.Benefits

Starting at $21.22- $23.72 per hour.

Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification.
