Principal Architect

What you do

Drive solution designs and deep architectural discussions with internal teams as well as with client and partner technical teams.

Handle ambiguity in requirements and solutions, driving commercially viable and winning solutions apt for the local market.

Act as the Face of Technology with global clients and partners; comfortable with Cloud, Application architecture, Agile principles, and Cost estimations.

Collaborate with all teams across VUE (Operations, Marketing, Content Development, Legal, Program Management, and Business Development).

Report to the Head of VUE Architecture and collaborate as needed with all VUE Enterprise Architects, product/platform Architects, and Cybersecurity teams.

Present to Technology executives and VUE SET (Senior Executive Team) for decisions.

Work closely with the Product Manager, Project Manager, Business System Analyst, and Quality Engineer to oversee and support execution by partner teams.

Provide architectural leadership to the Enterprise UI Framework team.

May be required to travel occasionally as needed.

What you bring

Experience in Cloud native solutions, full stack application architecture, and development, Agile practices.

Technical and Architectural leadership.

Great collaborative skills.

Excellent communication skills to work with local clients and partners in Saudi, France, China, India, etc.

Passion to learn and expand knowledge in the application of technology for business benefits.

Ability to handle ambiguity and find pragmatic paths forward to drive solutions and execution.

Strong technology fundamentals and ability to learn new technologies quickly as required.

Mandatory Technical skills: Angular, Java/.NET, Azure/AWS/GCP, Cybersecurity tools, Observability, Microservices architecture, Docker, SQL, and NoSQL; ability to navigate Monolith and ball of mud architectures.

Preferred skills: React, Traditional MVC web architecture.

Compensation

The minimum full-time salary range is between $120k - 130k. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.
