Sr. Brand and Shopper Analyst

in

Boston, MA .A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule.The Senior Brand & Shopper Insights Analyst is responsible for using syndicated and internal data to deliver comprehensive reports and actionable insights to brand leadership. The analyst is a strategic partner to the brand teams, conducting in-depth analyses and actively contributing to the development of brand strategies.What You'll Brew:Act as primary reporting and analytics contact for the brand teams the role supports.Act as a strategic partner to senior brand leadership, providing in-depth insights and analysis to shape and influence key business decisions.Uncover key business questions and address them through analysis of internal and external data, providing key takeaways and strategic recommendations.Develop and deliver routine reporting to measure performance on KPIs, key initiatives, and trends where applicable.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, recommending changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of brand analysis and reporting.Benchmark BBC brands against industry trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.Conduct analysis for and present to the C-Level leadership as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional Commercial Insights and Analytics (CIA) partners on analysis and insight generation where applicable.Attend weekly & monthly meetings/calls for CIA team and other meetings with brands the role supports as needed.Provide back-up support for other members of the team within Brand & Shopper Insights.Provide additional ad hoc analysis upon request.What Ingredients You'll Bring:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree.Minimum of 5 years prior analytics experience.Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g. Circana/IRI, NIQ/Nielsen required, Numerator preferred).Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks while setting priorities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy in an Analyst function.Strong story-telling skills, with demonstrated ability to distill complex analyses into concise and impactful narratives.Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills are necessary.Ability to work with and connect multiple data sources to drive concise and actionable insights.High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience in market research, data analysis, and shopper insights within the retail or consumer goods industry.Experience with visualization software (ex: Power BI or Tableau).Level: 5In accordance with pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role if hired is $81,600 – $130,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate.
