The DTechLogic Team is seeking a Linux System Administrator at The Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Advanced Research Center (ARC). This position requires an understanding and proficiency in Linux and ability to work in a dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the System Administration Team in the evaluation, configuration, and installation of Linux systems in a testing environment. Other duties include managing system upgrades and tracking tasks for building out systems.

The Advanced Research Center (ARC) is a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) facility located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, AL. The ARC is a Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) facility designed and operated to support Missile Defense System (MDS) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Ground Test (GT) and Flight Test (FT) activities.

About DTechLogic:

DTechLogic is the prime contractor supporting the ARC, which is a joint venture between Davidson Technologies and nLogic that was started in 2018. The DTechLogic ARC Team consists of five contractor teammates in Huntsville, AL. Standard ARC operation hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, with some exceptions outside of this window.

Primary Responsibilities:Support simulated ground test infrastructure and reconfigurationTroubleshoot, resolve, and document System Errors and ResolutionsInstallation of rebuilding of existing serversApplying DISA STIGsInstalling OS and application patchesTroubleshooting OS and resolving hardware/software problemsRequired Qualifications:

Experience in Linux System AdministrationExperience installing, rebuilding, and configuring Linux SystemsWilling to learn new things and share existing knowledge with othersAdaptable to changing requirementsExceptional troubleshooting skillsBS or higher in related field (or equivalent work experience)4-8 years related work experienceSecret clearance requiredPreferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environmentExperience in backup software/Commvault, storage systems (NetApp)Experience in test and/or MDSFamiliarity with Windows Domains and RSAExperience working in secured spacesCertifications:

Security+ (or other DoD approved 8750 Level II Certification)Attain Linux+ certification within first three months of employmentCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Current SECRET clearance is required for consideration. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
