Our current long-term General Sales Manager has accepted a new position within the Findlay Automotive Group, creating a unique opportunity for a talented individual to step into a pivotal role.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including new and used vehicle sales, sales operations, and customer satisfaction.Develop and implement effective sales strategies and objectives to achieve dealership goals.Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.Foster a positive and customer-centric sales culture.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.Manage inventory levels and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and legal requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees, and the community.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years in automotive sales management, with a strong emphasis on used car operations.Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in automotive dealership management software.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Have experience with CDK.Conduct daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings.Hire, motivate, and monitor the performance of all new/used vehicle sales employees.Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system.
