We are looking for a Machinist

to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Machinist performs a variety of duties and utilizes multiple skillsets. Machinists are required to follow detailed drawings and instructions. Set up, operation, and maintenance of CNC and manual mills, lathes, and standard machine shop tools are some of the daily tasks.

The following essential job functions are performed as a Machinist Technician:

Attention to detail and quality is requiredReads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings, and work ordersReceives and carries out directions from designated Supervisors and Production LeadsMust be able to understand and comply with Safety PracticesIdentifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job functionSet up scaffolding and safety barriers under directionProperly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activitiesMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free conditionKnowledge and use of common hand toolsAccurate use of precision measuring instruments (ie: micrometers, calipers, etc,) and working to exacting tolerancesMust understand and comply with Safety and 5S.Must understand and comply with AS9100 and Nadcap Practices and Procedures as applicableWorks in other Cells to support Production as required, ie; Metal Fab or Mill Cell.CNC Mill and Manual Mill set up, operation and maintenance.CNC Lathe and Manual Lathe set up, operation and maintenance.Mill/Lathe Operation, includes Tooling knowledge, Calibrated equipment, machine operation, part loading and clamping, machine maintenance.CNC editing on the shop floorThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred.6 months or more of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment requiredMust have effective verbal and written communication skills.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Wage range for this role is between

$20 - $45

an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.BENEFITS
