Weekly Pay Range - $2036 To $2262 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, every other weekend, holidays included Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience License: Active RN license in MD or compact state Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS Must-Have: - Cardiac Monitoring experience - Anti-arrhythmia infusions experience Job Description: - Monitor cardiac patients using specialized equipment. - Administer anti-arrhythmia infusions. - Care for post-op open heart surgery, thoracotomy, AMI/STEMI patients. - Utilize computerized charting and medication scanning systems. - Work in a 30-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6. - Participate in an orientation program that includes cardiac monitoring and drug competency testing. - Rotate every other week for RN orientation. - Occasionally float to medical-surgical areas as needed. - Dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs. Additional Information: - Two shifts of floor orientation provided. - Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation. - Be prepared for every other week RN orientation schedule: 10/07 - 10/21 - 11/04.
