Systems Integration Engineering Manager

to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, Systems Test & Integration, the Systems Integration Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a diverse team comprised of Systems Integration Engineers working to execute and provide expertise in spacecraft system build and test, module, and avionics build and test, as well as designing automated test tools and processes as part of the larger high volume production team. Responsibilities include planning and execution of the necessary efforts to support engineering projects, pursuits, and programs. The Systems Integration Engineering Manager is also responsible for functional staffing requirements (workforce/resource planning), recruiting, training, talent development, engagement, and retention of employees. The manager proactively collaborates with functional and business leadership teams to support business and program requirements. In this role, the selected candidate will communicate with stakeholders within and outside the organization, including customers, vendors, executive leadership, and other engineering discipline managers; guide the design team with DFX continuous improvement projects; and oversee the execution of Earned Value (EVM) project execution.ResponsibilitiesLeads, organizes, and delegates to a systems integration team and test engineers to accomplish complex system and subsystem assembly, integration, and tests for production, module, and spacecraft system testing.Interface with engineers and technicians to advance to larger-scale manufacturing and automationDevelop full vehicle integration build flow and testing campaigns while ensuring vehicle integrity of electronic and mechanical systemsProduces executive summaries and metrics for progress reporting and communicates opportunities/focus areas.Guides/create design standards and engineering best practices.Travel and work off-site at other locations may be requiredRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.Proficiency with all aspects of spacecraft system build and test, including but not limited to electrical power systems, RF subsystems, attitude and control sensors, and actuation and command and data handling avionics.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.Experience developing plans, schedules, and estimates with Earned Value Management techniques.Experience with Department of Defense Specifications and StandardsExperience with industry-standard and military specification testing standardsWorking knowledge of environmental testing with thermal chambers, vibration tables, and thermal vacuum chambers while in a cleanroom environment.Ability to develop proposal estimates with a solid basis of justification.Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and engage teams through innovation, collaboration, and mentorship initiatives.Ability to work simultaneously on various projects; possesses strong organization and prioritization skills.Proficiency with MS Office tools, including experience with spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and MS OfficeStrong writing, presentation, and oral communication skills.Benefits100% Company-paid comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents401(k) MatchUnlimited PTOSalary Range

$140,000-$180,000Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
