Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing treatment to help individuals recover and improve their physical function and mobility. Your expertise will aid patients with injuries, disabilities, and chronic conditions, guiding them through rehabilitation and improving their quality of life.Key Responsibilities:Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their physical condition and identify functional limitations.Review medical histories and perform diagnostic assessments to develop a comprehensive understanding of patients' needs.Individualized Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans focused on recovery, taking into consideration the patient's specific needs, conditions, and goals.Set realistic, achievable goals in collaboration with the patient to ensure effective rehabilitation.Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, and the application of therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.).Exercise Prescription: Design tailored exercise programs to enhance strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and monitor their adherence and progress.Manual Therapy: Apply hands-on techniques like joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and manipulations to improve mobility and alleviate discomfort.Assistive Devices: Recommend and provide guidance on the use of assistive devices such as crutches, canes, walkers, or orthotic devices to enhance patient mobility.Patient Education & Support: Educate patients about their condition, the rehabilitation process, and preventive measures for future injuries.Provide ongoing emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.Pain Management: Administer pain-relief strategies, including heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and muscle tension reduction techniques to enhance patient comfort.Injury Prevention: Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and exercises, particularly for athletes or individuals at higher risk of specific injuries.Progress Monitoring: Continuously evaluate patient progress during treatment, adjusting interventions as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals.Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure comprehensive and legal documentation of care.Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and specialists, to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.Ongoing Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and advancements in physical therapy through continuous learning and research, ensuring that patients receive the most advanced care available.Administrative Duties:Manage administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing insurance claims, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferred.Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and motivate patients.Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Empathy, patience, and attention to detail.
