Post Consumer Brands is looking for a transformational Accounting Intern for a 12-week summer 2025 immersive internship experience.This position will provide visibility into multiple functions including Accounting, Treasury and Financial Reporting. As an Accounting Intern working with Post Consumer Brands' General Ledger Accounting group, you will help with inputs to financial reporting. Your work will support key decisions made by our Leadership Team.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES / DUTIES

The Accounting Intern may assist in several project and/or operations support roles in the finance department.Assignments may include work such as:

Perform GAAP research and design and implement the standardCreate and build reports to be used by the accounting teamDesign automation for repetitive tasksLearn to discover, interpret, and communicate meaningful patterns in dataSpecific project and operational roles will be identified 30-60 days prior to the start of the internship, based on business need and intern interests.

Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree or at an institution with an accredited program in Accounting, graduating December 2025 or May 2026.We are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the futureMotivated, curious individual with a desire to learn, understand, and ask questionsAbility to work independently and in teamsStrong written and oral communication skillsThe ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative to identify areas of opportunity and take actionA high level of competence in computer applications and the ability to use technology as a decision-support toolAbility to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organizationPrevious internship or work experience (preferred)Interest in the consumer packaged goods / manufacturing industry with the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (preferred)
