Description: This key position contributes to the resort's success and guest experience by supervising SPLASH! and the Sonoran Market daily operations to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards. This position oversees employee on-boarding, training new hires and training existing employees, employee scheduling, ensuring team motivation and effective communication processes with fellow employees are being practiced. A key function of this role is to interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervises daily food outlet operations to ensure successful execution of all resort standards and completion of daily tasks and assignmentsAssists with the overall operation of the restaurant(s) including; Point of Sale transactions, expediting, re-stocking, ensuring staff breaksMaintain standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.Proficiency with POS systemEnsures that areas are sanitized, cleaned, stocked, and setup correctly at start of and throughout the shift while always adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policiesProvides coaching, encouragement, and recognition to employees regularlyResponds to guest concerns and escalates to leadership as appropriateProvides supervisory and administrative support for food and beverage operations including scheduling, payroll, time and attendance, inventory, ordering and receiving, and personnel related mattersMonitors performance of staff, providing real time feedback and coachingParticipates in recruitment process and selection of talent for the F&B staffParticipate in performance management including; employee reviews, corrective action, investigations, conflict resolution, etc.Maintains quality of operation by ensuring service excellence, ensuring adequate supply and food inventory levels, and operation of equipment by troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or calling for repairMaintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables getting along with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.Performs other duties as assigned by managementJob Requirements:The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.High School diploma or GED, and 1 year of related experience.Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service leadership capacityMust be able to meet state age requirement to serve alcohol.Alcohol Awareness Training, Food safety and sanitation trainingAbility to grasp, lift, carry and/or transport up to 30 lbs.Ability to remain on feet for a prolonged period (10 hours), of time.Good communication essential with ability to listen effectively, to speak and write English clearly.Must be a motivated self-starter that takes the initiative to identify and undertake projects.Self-motivated, organized, fast and even-tempered.Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task a must.Experience with Microsoft Office and general software systems; proficiency in Excel, Word and OutlookBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, etc.) as they apply to cash handlingAbility to identify, address and resolve conflict.Maintain good safety habits and report unsafe or hazardous conditions to management.Promote excellent guest relationsFlexible schedule and must have availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
