Job Summary:The Corporate Accounting team at K1 Speed is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements across our multiple entities. Youll gain exposure to ad hoc projects and play a key role in building processes that enhance efficiency and automate routine activities. This position reports to the Assistant Controller, and offers opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and a chance to make a significant impact on the companys continued success.
What Youll Do:Perform various month end close tasks, including preparing month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analysisAssist with the month end close process for assigned international subsidiariesResponsible for accruals, fixed assets, and other accounts as assignedAssist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and proceduresLiaison with third party accounting firms and other departments to ensure correct reportingDrive process improvements through evaluation of accounting day to day activities and assist with implementing changes for improved efficienciesPrepare audit requests for external auditAssist with sales and use tax monthly filingsParticipate in special projects, data analysis, and reporting as required by management
