directly from our family farm in Ghana. Our ultimate vision is to help create a more sustainable, ethical and equitable chocolate industry.Job Overview:You will be joining our company as a fulfillment associate. In this position, you will get orders from our facility to our customers (pull, pack, ship/pick-up, track & resolve). Methods of fulfillment currently include shipping, pick-up from our site, and delivery. This role is integral to the success of Cocoa Asante as how our customers receive their orders is just as important as what they receive. How well orders are prepped and fulfilled have a direct impact on customer retention. Key responsibilities include Read and decipher work ordersLocate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areasConfirm merchandise information matches that of the work orderInspect merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularitiesPack merchandise safely for deliveryLabel shipping boxesTransport packed items to the appropriate location for delivery or pick-upFinalize work orders and update the shipping databaseFold and prep shipping boxesTrack supply inventoryCommunicate daily with cross-functional teams from the CEO to production staffThis role is a part-time position that will last from November to mid-December. Once you have been fully trained in our current processes, you will operate semi-independently in your role. You will have daily check-ins with your supervisor and weekly team meetings in which goals, issues, and important initiatives will be discussed. Schedule: must be able to work 9 am - 5 pm Monday - Wednesday. Hours are determined by our shipping schedule and have very little flexibility.
