How you will make a Difference

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. You'll provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot issues, and maintain our systems.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Provide first- and second-level technical support for computer hardware, software, and network issues.Document and resolve support tickets, ensuring detail oriented timely responses and accurate resolutions.Create and maintain knowledge base articles to assist users and streamline support processes.Troubleshoot intermediate networking issues for branch offices.Document knowledge base articles to refine help desk workflows.User Management:Onboard and offboard users- administer all user accounts and groups on all systems which includes but not limited to: setting up new users, changes to user accounts and termination of accounts upon employee separation while managing user accounts and permissions across all systems.Configure computer hardware, smart devices, and install software, ship/collect equipment from branch offices.Coordinate equipment shipping and collection for branch offices.Assist with office moves and relocations.System Maintenance:

Track and update computer inventory to ensure accurate records.Manage, update and track internet and phone services for branch offices, including upgrades and vendor coordination.Oversee and coordinate with external vendors for security gate, internet, and telephone services.On-Call Support:Be available for off-hours support and maintenance as needed, including weekends.Please note that you may be asked to perform a variety of duties from time to time, which may not fall strictly in your job description. About You:

Education: BA/BS Degree PreferredExperience: 2-3 years' IT experience. Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support roleTechnical Skills: Extremely proficient with Windows and have a strong understanding of basic networking concepts, experience managing and maintaining Active Directory, ticketing system and Google Workspace. Strong technical skills with experience in troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and networking issues.Organization/Multi-tasking: Exceptional organization skills with the ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities; ability to prioritize workload; and an ability to work at a detailed level. Energetic self-starter with an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment; Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.Advanced Troubleshooting skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to research and resolve issues, creative thinker, work autonomously, quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologiesRelationship skills: ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships - both internal and external.Proficiency in English and excellent communication and Interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
