Manufacturing corporation in east TN has immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and financial reporting.
Experience in public accounting is a plus for this particular role.
Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principlesWork closely with team members to assist with the month-end closeAssist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notesResearch and analyze expense variances for company managementQualifications
3+ years' of professional accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experienceCPA preferred
