Responsibilities

• Lead client facing conversations around digital technology solutions including ESG software solutions especially Salesforce Net Zero Cloud ESG data management strategy regulatory compliance e.g. CSRD EUDR.
• Be an integral part of a team that develops highly strategic deliverables that will set the direction of our Fortune 500 clients for years to come.
• Serve as the domain expert for ESG software solutions to Fortune 500 ESG leaders as a part of Cognizant's digital transformation projects. This requires the ability to understand client pain points and then to recommend a digital solution that best meets the clients' needs.
• Encourage forward thinking solutions and a collaborative communication environment to achieve business buy in.
• Support internal business development and sales teams in formulating the value propositions around ESG software solutions and data management to unlock new outcomes for clients.
• Develop key partnerships with ESG software solution providers to enhance Cognizant's partnerships and solution offerings.
• Partner with Cognizant's sustainability team to create accelerators and high value reusable assets e.g. content thought leadership to enhance Cognizant's value proposition in the ESG space.

Qualifications

• 7+ years professional experience working in the sustainability space with Fortune 500 companies.
• BS or MS in a scientific, mathematical or engineering domain with a focus on sustainability.
• Experience in carbon emissions accounting (GHG protocol) for large corporations and translating them to reports and emissions reduction strategies.
• Familiarity with CSO sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.).
• Analytical mindset with hands-on experience having used industry leading ESG technology solutions (e.g. IBM Envizi, Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, Persefoni, Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, Sphera, Watershed)
• Client focused, detail-oriented, organized and independent thinker that with insights on upcoming ESG legislation, industry and innovation.
• Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills across organizational levels.
• Previous experience in a consulting or advisory role is preferred.
• Travel expectations: 20%.

Certifications Required

• Hands on experience with ESG software solutions especially Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.
• Understanding of the key advantages of industry leading ESG software solutions including IBM Envizi MSM.
