Operations Officer - Program Management

The applicant shall conduct detailed planning, coordination, and synchronization of program management activities for the assigned organization(s). The applicant shall act as primary interface between organization leadership and higher-level leaders, to include Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) (ASA (ALT)) leaders and staff, and other stakeholder organizations. The applicant shall manage the assigned program calendars; coordinate and schedule meetings; record and distribute meeting notes and action items to meeting attendees; provide the status of action items, reports, and other assigned tasks; and electronically store the material from these engagements.
The applicant shall coordinate documentation and obtain required signatures. The applicant shall coordinate, revise, copy, and distribute materials for meetings, briefings, and conferences.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain security clearance.
Minimum High School Diploma/GED plus 16 years of experience, an Associate degree plus 10 years or a bachelor’s degree 8 yrs, or Master's degree 6 years’ experience in a specialized field; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, Quality, Production, or other related technical field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the last 10 years coordinating and collaborating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs, and experience working on military acquisition programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems experience). Experience in the preparation and tracking of Program Documentation IAW DoDI 5000.02.
Acceptable experience is that which reflects a substantial role in all the required areas: acquisition program documentation; acquisition program baseline development and management; development of supportability strategies and plans; development of technology development strategies and plans.
Experience with DoDI 5000.02, Army Regulation 70-1, DA Pamphlet 70-3; Microsoft Excel; Army Knowledge Center.
