Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
  2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to enhance the longevity and performance of our machinery.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  4. Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams related to various equipment and systems.
  5. Collaborate closely with production team to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing processes during maintenance.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing insights and suggestions for equipment optimization.
  8. Document and maintain records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent.
  9. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
  2. Proficient in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  3. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  4. Demonstrated ability to handle physical workload, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Proven record of adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
