Clinical Specialist

The Clearance Specialist works in a centralized call center and plays an important role in the quality of data entry services provided to our patients and physician office, and insurance carriers.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Accurately enter orders, captures and completes all patient demographic and insurance information.Responsible for ensuring all inbound documents are handled efficientlyMonitor assigned daily worklistsOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements:High School Graduate or equivalent.Previous medical office experience required​Bilingual a plusExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multi taskProfessional appearance and demeanor are requiredExcellent verbal and written communication requiredFamiliarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookPhysical Requirements:Standard Office Environment.More than 50% of the time:Sit, stand, walk.Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.Less than 50% of the time:Stoop, kneel or crawl.Climb and balance.Carry and lift up to 10-20Lbs.See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.Akumin Operating Corp. and its divisions are an equal opportunity employer and we believe in strength through diversity.
