Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Full Time

Job Summary:

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responds to emergent and non-emergent requests for medical assistance. They deliver high-quality patient care, treatment, and customer service. The EMT operates within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols, and Company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains thorough familiarity with treatment protocols, response requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Operates company vehicle in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
• Ensures unit remains in a state of readiness in terms of mechanical reliability, medical supply and equipment.
• Completes all appropriate EMT documentation as outlined in company policy.
• Reports all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead Paramedic or Supervisor.
• Attends all mandatory in-services.

Education/Certifications/Licensures:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• EMT License and CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider)
• Valid driver's license and ambulance driver's license
• Medical Examiner's Card or DL51 (from DMV)
• Driving record in compliance with company's Safety and Driving policy
• Completion of ICS courses

Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.57 per hour (DOE)
