Career Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic radiological procedures and basic CT procedures while ensuring compliance with established techniques and standards. This role involves assisting radiologists with fluoroscopy and special procedure examinations, as well as performing administrative duties as per policies and procedures.

Location: Canton Potsdam Hospital

Status: Per Diem

Schedule: 7.5hr shifts, Variable

Attributes:

• NYS license and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Preferred: One year work experience in a hospital setting

Responsibilities:

• Perform Radiology and CT procedures using the principles and knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and Radiologic techniques
• Assist radiologist in the performance of Radiology interventional procedures and provide appropriate images for interpretation
• Follow all regulatory and organizational guidelines for patient/staff screening and Radiology safety
• Participate in QA/QC procedures and maintain standards of these programs
