Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) - Glendale, California - 893719

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery/PP

Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (which includes the day before, holiday, and day after)

Requirements:

• CA License
• 2 years of prior experience in L&D
• Experience needed in the Mother baby/Postpartum units
• C-section experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
• Prefers travel experience

Other Details:

• First to Float
• Floating: PP-no unless NICU background for feeder/grower, L&D to postpartum. Typically don't work interchangeably
• # L&D Beds: 10 beds - 2 OR's in L&D
• Ratios: 1:1 close to delivery, 1:2 otherwise, 1:4 couplets on postpart
• EMR: Cerner
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Deliver down to 23 wks, some high risk- Antepartum, HTN , plan to tx out if known cardiac abnormality. Have perinatology support
