Job Summary

The Medical Center Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for administering radioactive materials, conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities
  • Administer pharmaceutical grade radioactive materials according to regulations
  • Explain procedures to patients prior to exams
  • Utilize imaging equipment for diagnostic tests
  • Maintain documentation of materials and procedures
  • Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Valid state medical technologist license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine
