Job Description
Adelphi is seeking to recruit a Registered Dietitian for a part-time role in a Medicare certified residential service facility in Poplar Bluff and Sikeston, Missouri.

Requirements:
• Registered and licensed in the state of Missouri
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of dietetics and nutrition, and of food service systems management.
• Ability to complete nutritional assessments; create nutrition and diet plans based on the assessed health needs of the consumers as directed by doctors
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and document patients progress and consult with physicians as needed.
• Review diagnosis and design nutrition plans for patients, including nutrition assessment, implementation, and progress towards nutrition goals.
• Educate and provide guidance to staff, patients and families regarding diet plans.
• Administer and advise food service operations to ensure menus are compliant with prescribed nutritional plans.
• Record any weight gain or reduction in medical charts and personal files
• Prepare monthly progress reports on each patient
