Job Overview:
A reputable law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its commercial loan workout and foreclosure department. This position requires a strong background in commercial loan workouts and mortgage foreclosure litigation, with a specific focus on New Jersey foreclosure procedures.Duties:Manage commercial mortgage foreclosure cases from initiation to resolution.Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings and motions.Oversee a caseload of foreclosure litigation, ensuring timely compliance with all deadlines.Represent clients in court settings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality legal services.Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments and consultations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.Admission to the Bar in New Jersey and/or New York.A minimum of 2 years of experience in foreclosure litigation.Demonstrated ability to manage litigation from inception through trial.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the New Jersey and/or New York State Bar.Skills:Profound knowledge of foreclosure laws and regulations, particularly in New Jersey.Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.Familiarity with foreclosure software, including Lexus Nexus.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.Job Location:Newark, NJ
