Job Duties:

The College of Science, Engineering, and Technology sees applications for two (2) nine-month tenure-track positions in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics starting Fall 2024. Application review begins November 1, 2023.

Responsibilities:

Teaching mathematics courses at all levels with commitment to academic excellence.

Advising students and developing the curriculum.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry.

Serving on departmental, school, and university committees.

Performing appropriate scholarly and service activities.

Demonstrating productive and active research with publications, presentations, and grantsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.

Record of teaching and scholarly experience.

Additional Considerations:

Computational skills and understanding of and graduate experience in current trends in Data Science & Analytics.
