Role Summary:
Our Client is seeking a Senior Scientist or Project Manager for their ecological sciences practice. Responsibilities include environmental and regulatory review, permitting of projects, and coordination of various applications. The role demands expertise in the transportation sector, including aviation, roadway, bridge, and rail.
Primary Responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating Notice of Intent, Water Quality Certificate, Massachusetts General Permit Applications, and MEPA/NEPA submittals.
Managing medium to large scale projects, understanding environmental regulations, and mentoring staff.
Conducting complex wetland delineations, overseeing large scale delineation efforts, wetland mitigation site design, and environmental monitoring.
Participation in biological, geological, and other scientific studies, and reviewing documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field, with 5-10+ years of experience in environmental permitting, especially wetlands.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Valid driver's license for business travel and eligibility to work in the USA.
