The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Division Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology. This key physician leader is an integral part of the Pediatrics Department and leads all administrative, clinical, and educational activities for the division. With the opening of the new Children's Hospital, the division chief will play an important role in maintaining the position of the division as market leader in the region and in planning the expansion of outreach services across the state.The Division Chief's responsibilities include:Leading the divisions clinical, research and educational servicesFostering the growth and expansion of Pediatric Endocrinology programs with the goal to develop an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric EndocrinologySupervision of Division staff including Physicians, Advanced Practice Professionals, and support staffAbout MU Healthcare:In the past decade, MU Healthcare is the market leader in our region, serving 25 counties and a total population of 800,000 and growing. Minimum Qualifications:
