The Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention is inviting applications for Post-Doctoral Fellows. This postdoctoral training opportunity offers preparation for independent research careers focused on tobacco use through opportunities to partner in team science and develop independent projects. Team science projects include large clinical trials of smoking cessation interventions; longitudinal studies of smoking, vaping, and tobacco cessation; and dissemination and implementation science studies of smoking cessation interventions in healthcare and community settings. Faculty provide mentoring in the development of independent research programs.Since 1992, CTRI ( www.ctri.wisc.edu ) has been a leading center for smoking cessation research and a hub for dissemination.Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field. Experience in health, behavioral health, dissemination and implementation science, or substance abuse research is strongly preferred. Candidates will be expected to write manuscripts, contribute to grant proposals, and present data in national or international meetings. Start and end dates are flexible.
