Location: De Soto, KansasWe are proud to announce the establishment of a state-of-the-art Li-ion battery factory, set amidst the beautiful Kansas City Metro. This groundbreaking green-field factory will serve as a pioneering hub for innovation in sustainable energy solutions.Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of technology within the IT and OT areas of the Gigafactory.Ensure the strategy for North America is implemented and adhered to within the Gigafactory.Manage a team of technical resources to deliver the technology roadmap and support digital services.Ensure uninterrupted daily operations of all technology systems supporting the 24X7X365 operations of the new DeSoto gigafactory.Supply overall technical leadership and direction to the Gigafactory and technology team.Accountable for the technical assurance of in-house Key Objectives and Responsibilities and outsourced platforms.Further develop capabilities, processes, and team structures in managing change, agile software development, and cyber security.Communicate the North American vision and delivery plan for technology and digital services transformation.Collaborate with North American and Japanese counterparts to share and adopt best solutions.Manage the overall Technology Group budget for the Gigafactory.Empower and develop staff to innovate and improve while maximizing their contributions.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.Client-driven and business-sensitive attitude.Knowledge of integrated IT/OT systems, processes, and platforms.Solid understanding of network and data architecture concepts.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to create and present electronic and spoken presentations.Must have working-level knowledge of the English language.Preferred:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a global business manufacturing company.Experience in managing complex project teams.Experience in business process re-engineering.Experience in managing budgets and financial expectations.Physical Demands:Sit: 40%Walk: 30%Stand: 20%Lift: 10%About Us:
