The ideal candidate will be able to write scripts, edit video, and produce newscasts when necessary.This role is considered on-site, which means the employee will work from a Company designated location on an ongoing basis.Responsibilities:Write and produce for newscasts as assignedEdit video and booth newscastsWork with reporters, editors, directors, and others to shape stories and newscastsBasic Qualifications:Minimum of two years broadcast news experience.Ability to work quickly and under continuous deadlines required.Scheduling flexibility and willingness to work weekends, overnights, and holidays a must.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Dalet, line producing, non-linear editing, Ross Expression, and touch-screen technology all pluses.Required Education:Bachelor’s degreeAdditional Info:This position is covered under the NABET-CWA – ABC Master Agreement. The pay rate for this role in Glendale, California is $23.26 to $39.29 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. The role also receives a daily payment in-lieu of benefits and may have potential for additional compensation for overtime, producing, and early morning or overnight shifts.• This position is covered under the NABET-CWA – ABC Master Agreement. The pay rate for this role in Glendale, California is $23.26 to $40.56 per hour.
