The Health & Safety Manager (EHSQ Manager) is responsible for planning, managing and reporting on all activities within the EHSQ remit, while closely interacting with Clients, External agencies, and all internal teams.What you would do:Ensure that company EHSQ policies and procedures are fully implemented.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice including ISO Standards (9001:2015, 45001:2018, 14001:2015).Ensure RAMS are in place and updated for all projects.Actively participate in the promotion of a positive health, safety, quality and environmentally conscious culture across the entire Group.Investigate and follow up on all non-compliances, accidents incidents and near misses.Conduct regular review on corrective actions arising from all non-conformances.Conduct site inspections weekly.Ensure internal audits are completed regularly on projects, procedures and sites.Review all EHSQ related documentation submitted by contractors and sub-contractors.Compile monthly, quarterly and annual EHSQ reports including frequent memos and bulletins.Collate accident statistics and undertake trend analysis.Lead the team, mentoring and managing performance as appropriate.Maintain professional and technical knowledge including IOSH CPD, attending educational conferences, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks.Create and roll out various EHSQ training programmes as required.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Health and Safety.Environmental experience and/or Quality Qualification required.Previous experience of managing teams.Previous experience working in the Construction/Building Services industries.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Full driving license.Additional Information
