The Department of Psychology & Biobehavioral Sciences at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking outstanding candidates for postdoctoral fellowship opportunities in pediatric psychology. The postdoctoral fellowship training program is designed to enhance skills of psychology trainees preparing for a career in a pediatric academic medical setting. As a fellow, you will benefit from an individualized training approach, including access to world renowned interdisciplinary mentors, a goal-directed development plan, a top-ranked scientific environment, exceptional educational resources for professional growth, and superb benefits and professional development.Postdoctoral fellows are trained within a clinician scientist model and are provided with supervision in both the provision of clinical care and research. Additionally, a consultation-liaison approach allows the fellow to collaborate with a variety of medical treatment teams. Two-year postdoctoral fellowships incorporating both clinical and research activities are offered. Strong candidates for a clinical-only training program may be considered.We will be able to accommodate three pediatric psychology fellows beginning in the Summer of 2025. Two fellowship positions offer research and clinical training opportunities broadly focused on quality of life and health promotion in pediatric catastrophic illness (cancer, hematologic disorders, infectious disease, neurologic conditions). One fellowship position offers research and clinical training specific to sleep disruption and fatigue in the context of pediatric cancer or blood disorders, as well as general consultation-liaison and intervention experiences.St. Jude offers highly competitive stipends (currently 24% above NIH levels), health benefits (i.e., medical, prescription, dental, vision), and a professional development allowance.EligibilitySuccessful applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, counseling, or school psychology from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (APA- or CPA-accredited preferred) and have completed a doctoral internship meeting APPIC standards (APA- or CPA-accredited preferred).To ApplyCompleted applications are requested by
