The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures maintains an applicant pool for Non-Tenure Track Instructors in French. Instructors typically teach 1 to 4 language classes/semester. All positions are pending adequate enrollment and funding.Duties and Responsibilities:Instructors typically teach 1 to 4 language classes/semester. All positions are pending adequate enrollment and funding.Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a foreign university.Proficiency level in French appropriate to the position.Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:PhD in French or other relevant discipline.Superior level proficiency in French.Experience teaching at the college level.The Successful Candidate Will:Have effective interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate successfully and maintain cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, and students.Position Special Requirements/Additional Information:The position for which you have applied MAY BE a Union position.
