Restoration Ecologist . This is a full time position located in the Riverside/Anaheim area.Essential Functions:Support Project Managers in developing restoration specifications, conducting fieldwork, drafting reports, and assisting with project monitoring.Perform ecological field studies, assessments, biological monitoring and reporting for a variety of ecosystem projects. Conduct quality control reviews to ensure that reports meet project objectives and are technically accurate.Coordinate and supervise field crews to execute project work tasks.Review project deliverables for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, adherence to local and regional planning objectives, and meet project contractual requirements.Participate in client meetings and community engagement activities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science, or related field. Masters preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ecologist/botanist, preferably with knowledge of California coastal plant communities and experience assisting with restoration projects.Experience conducting biological field studies and preparing technical documents.Proficient in the use of ArcGIS and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.Ability to prioritize and assist with multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
