Commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefitsOverviewThe Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking a Temporary Assistant Professor to cover teaching (90%) and service (10%). The position is available up to two years with the possibility of renewal for one additional year. This is an academic-year (9-month) position with an anticipated start date of August 2024.ResponsibilitiesTeaching will be at the undergraduate level in general and inorganic chemistry. Service will include membership on one or more committees in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

PhD in chemistry or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications:Evidence of effectiveness in teaching general and inorganic chemistry at the undergraduate level.Ability to work productively and cooperatively with colleagues.Eagerness to contribute to undergraduate education in the Department.Excellent oral, written, and problem-solving skills.Required DocumentsAlong with the online application, please attach:
